For our fourth installment of our #WinTogether CREW Spotlight, we spoke with our Market Director – Growth & New Markets, Nicola Heredia. Since joining this summer, she’s already played a major role in our upcoming brand refresh, from leading the launch of our new website (which we are excited to share soon!) to developing our go to market strategy in new areas of business such as food service and produce. Where are you from?
“I was born in Ireland and raised in the suburbs of Chicago.”
When and how did you join Novipax?
“I joined Novipax in July 2022 after feeling like it was time to make a change and I saw it as an opportunity to grow in my career.”
What do your day-to-day responsibilities consist of?
“I’m involved in all things rebrand and marketing such as launching the new website, and on the new markets side focused on the go to market strategy in new markets such as food service and produce.”
What is something unique that you have experienced at Novipax?
“Something unique is that we have people really invested in the plants and manufacturing. There is a lot of investment in the communities outside of our main office, so it makes the company feel a lot smaller considering its size.”
What is your favorite thing about working for Novipax?
“The amount of opportunity from a business perspective is exciting! It can be applied to many different areas so it is exciting to see where absorbency can take us.”
What is your favorite activity in the Oak Brook area?
“The many restaurant and shopping options in the area.”
What is your favorite restaurant in the Oak Brook area?
“Lantern Pizza Co.”
Who would you say has been the most influential person in your life thus far?
“My mom. She really exhibits an admirable work ethic and care for those she works with.”
What is your favorite hobby?
“I play volleyball once a week with my husband at a local bar. Our team has been playing together for about 10 years now and it is a good break in the week.”
What is your favorite vacation spot?
“Fort Myers, Myrtle Beach, I’m a big fan of the beach!”

“Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup by John Carreyrou”
What is your life mantra/motto?
“Work hard and go on all the vacations.”
